Colorado Winter Part 1

Colorado is beginning to take hold of special places in my heart. When I think of Colorado, I think of good things, blessings, family, and an ever increasing love that has taken me by surprise. I’ll never be able to properly express what happened on this last visit, but luckily these very special days were well documented. To start off, here are some of my personal favorites taken on an adventure out in Palmer Lake, CO. All of the photos on this particular post are by the great Jarrod Renaud.
I was grateful to spend some time with Jarrod for a variety of reasons. One, because I hadn’t seen his face since we worked on a project together for his blog, The Lantern Room (I will post about this later). Two, because he’s a great photographer and only getting seriously better each day (check out his portfolio and instagram). Three, because he’s a wonderful brother in Christ. It was inspiring to hear about what the Lord has done in his life recently. I hope he’ll share the details of these stories one day – it is a testimony of how God blesses obedience and walking in faith. Truly encouraged by your strides in faith, brother.
The Palmer Lake photo adventure with my fiance and future brother, Parker Fitzgerald and Jarrod is entirely predictable. Climbing over fences, braving the cold, stopping on the side of the road, traversing through trees. It’s just what happens when you have 3 great photographers all in one place, and 4 people willing to stand still in the snow.
